If ccp reset everyone back to 500k sp however much money we got and removed everything except aur, skin weave and other suits like it due to the large amount of new players we are getting.
And no im not talking constant resets every year cause there will always be new players no way around that im talking one last reset so everyone starts fresh and no more after that barring a major screw up that warrants it.
Who would quit or whine on the forums and who would just man up chalk it up to being a good thing and play cause you enjoy the game. |

Master Jaraiya wrote:This is not the answer. If CCP did another reset in 2 months we will have the same issues regarding matchmaking that we currently have. What do u think they should do so as not to get proto vs scrub matches? |

As mentioned already on multiple occasions, a reset won't do jack. People with aurum will be back on pubstomping proto levels in no time, and then you have a largely pissed-off group that has lost ~10m in SP to some people on the Forum who then would be confronted with the "where is your fantastic balanced world now" New players already are "protected" by the newb matchmaking (unless i am wrong and the mechanic hasn't been activated yet), which will ensure that those newbies will have a sufficient amount of SP before they play with the "big guys". academy mode is were u first start when your new your there until u hit 10,000 wp then your thrust into a world of death |

Vets always have an edge over newberries. They have more experience at using the weapons, they have more experience on the maps. They also have more experience working in teams. They know what counters what.
You say you've been playing since open beta - create a new character and play in the battle academy. See how well you do.
What you're asking for will just make newberries complain. All the vets WILL beat them down due to them being more experienced. I do create new characters use them to test out new weapons and stuff I feel academy battles are the most balanced thing in this game at the moment. People keep saying the game started in open beta which is true but I don't really think we got many new players then now where getting a bunch of new players and the game is officially released.
Hence I think one final reset would benefit the game by putting everyone one an even playing field sp and isk wise yes the vets that have played since close beta will have an advantage due to knowing the maps not because of there 12 million sp and proto everything destroying the new people that enter. That does not help the game if all the people that join get sick of it and quit due to constant death. The new people should be getting wrecked a few months to a year down the road by proto not the first week of a game releasing. |
